DATE: Wednesday, July 4, 2012 LOCATION: Pearland High School Football Stadium (3775 South Main) TIME: Carnival opens at 2 p.m.; Gates open at 6 p.m., Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. ADMISSION: FREE admission to the concert and fireworks show PARKING: *FREE on-site parking or shuttle service provided from Bailey Campus (corner of Bailey & Veterans) & Pearland High School north lot.
Join us in celebrating our country's independence! The celebration will begin with an explosion of excitement. A full-size carnival will be on-site and open at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Stadium and field seating will be available at no charge beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. A VFW military salute will begin the evening's entertainment, followed by the National Anthem.
Then sit back, relax and sing along to the sounds of "Drywater", playing Top 40, R&B, and Country music. More...
At sundown, enjoy a spectacular 20-minute fireworks display from your seat inside the stadium. Food is available for purchase or you can bring your own. Please note that alcohol, glass containers and tobacco are prohibited. Activities will also be on-site including face painting, inflatables, jugglers and strolling magicians.
