                                "A WALK ON THE MOON"

This year’s Ladies & Little Gentlemen event, “A Walk on the Moon,” was a success. Young gentlemen, accompanied by their mothers, grandmothers or aunts, seemed to enjoy all aspects of the event – from the hands on NASA exhibits including real space food to the Home Depot build it project, dancing and dinner! Upon arrival,couples posed for a complimentary photo in front of a themed backdrop (featuring the moon). The photos were provided to each couple by the Vineyard Church. At the Home Depot activity are each couple was invited to build a wooden project ranging from a wood wagon to bookends. The buffet dinner and dancing promptly started at 6pm. Beef O’ Brady’s was the caterer for the evening – featuring chicken fingers and mini-slider hamburgers. After dinner, the couples continued to dance the night away. Shortly after 7pm, everyone joined in a massive LIMBO contest! Lots of photos, smiles and laughter were had. As the guests left, they received a package of astronaut ice cream to keep remembering the evening!
